NOGA ONLINE REGISTRATION - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Beginning on April 1,
the Northern Ohio Golf Association will introduce a new online tournament
registration platform for the upcoming golf season. To help with
the transition, NOGA has listed the answers to a few common questions
members may have when registering online in 2011.
Q: Will my login
and password from 2010 be the same in 2011?
A: YES. Each NOGA member
who registered for a tournament online in 2010 created a User Name
and Password. Please use this same User Name and Password for 2011.
New users will have to register as a "New User" and create
a User Name and Password if they'd like to register online. All
you will need is your GHIN number to get started.
Q: Once my User
Name and Password has been created, how do I choose which tournaments
I want to register for?
A: Each tournament has
its own check box next to the tournament name. Simply click the
check box to highlight the tournament and then click "Register
for Selected Events" at the top of the page.
Q: Why do some
tournaments not have check boxes next to the tournament names?
A: There may be a couple
of reasons for this. First, you must be registered and logged in
to see the check boxes. Second, the online registration platform
will only show check boxes next to the names of tournament you qualify
for. (Example: A golfer under the age of 55 will not have any check
boxes next to the Seniors Championships or be allowed to register
for any senior flights)
Q: Can I register
for more than one tournament at a time and have only one charge
to my credit card?
A: YES. Members may check
multiple check boxes to register for more than one event at a time.
Your credit card with be charged for the entire amount, instead
of having separate charges for each event.
